Mariners Gallery, St Ives, Cornwall

The 'Mariners' Gallery was formally the Mariners Church. Set amongst former fish cellars and cottages it is both integral and conspicuous within its surroundings in the heart of the town. Operated as the exhibition centre for the St Ives Society of Artists the building is now in need of repairs and design work to provide facilities and an exhibition area that meets current best practice gallery and educational standards and is sustainable for the future.

Pearn & Procter were employed to oversee the significant repairs needed to the fabric of the building and to guide the client through the process of application for lottery funding. The success of this would determine any future work to include the design upgrades already mentioned.
